Facilities at The Old Police Station

The apartment comprises a main room, double bedroom and bathroom.

Our aim is to make your stay a real treat. To achieve this we provide lovely linen, luxury bathroom smellies and lots of extra little touches, right down to pretty coat hangers!

First let’s look at the practical facilities. We recognise that you don‘t want to compromise on cooking equipment when you are away from home. Cooking needs to be easy and enjoyable. The kitchen area in the main room includes oven, hob, dishwasher, washer/drier, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave all of which are set within well appointed kitchen units, with plenty of cupboard space.

We provide place settings for 4 to enable you entertain friends during your stay. We have included plenty of cooking equipment, crockery and utensils to ensure that cooking whilst you are with us is as easy as at home. If you want some cooking inspiration we also provide recipe books.

Otherwise the main room is set out to provide a dining area and an area for relaxing with an easy chair and a settee.

For your entertainment we provide a flat screen TV, DVD, music system plus wifi broadband. We provide lots of information about the local area in an information folder, with supplementary leaflets for local attractions, plus maps and books with local walks and bike rides for you to borrow whilst you stay with us. There are always plenty of books and magazines to read.

The bedroom includes a large fitted wardrobe, with a chest of drawers, providing plenty of space for your clothes. The bed(s) can be made up as a king size double or twin beds, let us know when booking, with luxury bed linen for your comfort and enjoyment.

The bathroom is very traditional with white fittings and a shower over the bath. It is warm and comfortable with a heated towel rail and lovely soft towels, which we can change as often as you wish during your stay.

There is a hoover, ironing board, iron etc.

The apartment has its own allocated parking space and there is a locked cycle storage in the basement.
